Epoch Online Wins Katie Award

Dallas, TX - October 25, 2003 - The Press Club of Dallas recently held its annual Katie Awards, and Epoch Online went home a winner.

The Katies provide recognition for excellence in journalism and communications across Texas and its surrounding states, and they are among the most prestigious awards in the country. For websites, there are 3 groups: News, Business, and Non-Profit. Each group contains three awards: Content, Graphics, and Best Overall. Epoch Online was a finalist in Business / Graphics with www.FlyXNA.com, and in Business / Best Overall Overall with both www.DonYoungWindows.com and www.ATAOnline.com.

Epoch Online received the trophy for Business/Best Overall for www.ATAOnline.com, the online home of the American Taekwondo Association. The judges said "excellent design, very user-friendly on all browsers, a great overall site." ATAOnline.com is a comprehensive resource for everything about the ATA - from biographies of the Grand Masters to virtual tours of their workout rooms. The site also features a shopping cart, a message board, tournament calendars, photo and video galleries, and black belt championship standings. Epoch Online's upgrade of their site launched in the spring of 2003.
